About

If you were expecting a wine blog this isn’t it.

This is the lifestyle blog a black girl who drinks a lot of white wine.

The idea for black girl. white wine. started in the Fall of 2015 during my law school admissions cycle. As a life long writer I though a blog would be a creative way to document my new journey, a great hobby for when I needed a break from law school, and might even serve as a resource for those perusing a career in the law.

Since then I’ve gone through some major life changes and and my site has gone through a major revamp. In the Spring of 2017 I restarted my blog with a new name and new focus.

This website is currently a collection of my random musings. I write about my life, school, work, travels, the few minutes I manage squeeze in for fun, and how I achieve the fabled work life balance.

I’m currently perusing my J.D. while working part time as a law clerk. After I completed my bachelors degree, I obtained my masters degree and worked for two years before I decided to return to school (one last time) to obtain my J.D.

I love traveling, reading, binge watching Netflix (when I probably should be studying), drinking white wine (Riesling to be specific), exploring my new city, and learning about the law.

I hope you find something in here to enjoy!

I love your site and the entire idea behind it! I can’t wait to continue reading about all of your adventures πŸ™‚

Anyways, as an aspiring lawyer I thought your might be perfect for a blog post idea I have!

If you’re intersted in hearing a little bit more about it and me – please shoot me an e-mail! I look forward to hearing from you!

    Thanks,

    Shannon
