 black-girl-white-wine

If you were expecting a wine blog this isn’t it.

This is the lifestyle blog of a black girl who drinks a lot of white wine.

The idea for black girl. white wine. started in the Fall of 2015 during my law school admissions cycle. I’m a life long writer and I thought a blog would be a creative way to document my new journey, a great hobby for when I needed a break from law school, and might even serve as a resource for those pursuing a career in the law.

Since the inception of this blog I’ve experienced some major life changes and my blog went through a major renovation. In the Spring of 2017 I restarted my blog with a new name and new focus.

black girl. white wine. is my lifestyle blog. I write about my life as a lawyer, detail my wedding planning experience, share  the products I can’t live without and show how I attempt to achieve the fabled work life balance.

After I completed my bachelors degree, I obtained my masters degree and worked for almost two years before I decided to return to school (one last time). I left my teeny tiny hometown and moved to a major midwest city where I’m currently working as an attorney.

Drinking white wine (Riesling to be specific), exploring new cities, and learning about the law, are just a few of my  my favorite things.

I hope you find something in here to enjoy!
