Many of you know I’ve been busy planning a wedding (you can read about our wedding day here and about our traditional Nigerian wedding ceremony here). One of the things left on my to do list is finding the perfect pair of wedding shoes. While I would love to walk down the aisle in a pair of Louboutin’s my recently-post-grad-currently-bar-studying budget is not quiteeee set up that way. On my hunt to find the perfect pumps I stumbled across a ton of shoes that give the designer look for less. So, this week on my blog I decided to share all my finds. Full disclosure; this post does contain affiliate links. Clicking on the links will not cost you money but, I may receive a small commission.
The Aveline Pump is by Jimmy Choo an absolute show stopper. The asymmetric bow is a whimsical feature and I am simply obsessed. If you want a similar look for less check out Elise Bow Heels from Bella Belle.
The Hermes Oran Sandal has become a summer staple. They’re classic and comfortable but also very expensive. If you (like me) question paying so much for a sandal check out the Greece Women’s Sandal. You’ll get the same look for a fraction of the price.
In a perfect world Christian Louboutin’s Crystal Follies Pumps would be my wedding shoe. They literally look like something Cinderella would wear. Oddly enough I found these Miluoro Rhinestone Heels (which look damn near identical) on Amazon. Another alternative are these Elsa Sequin Pumps which comes in nude, white, and black.
When it comes to designer shoes, Stuart Weizman is on the more affordable end of the spectrum. I love Stuart Weitzman shoes because they come in a variety of colors, heights, and styles. The Nudist Sandal is one of Stuart Weizman’s most iconic shoes, if you’re looking for the same look for less, check out the Sam Edelman Ariella Sandals. I own a pair in gold and highly recommend them!
Bottega Veneta’s quilted high heel sandals are one of the most popular shoes this season. The low heel makes them easy to dress up or down. If you want the same look for a fraction of the cost check out the Mackin J square toe sandal.
