Realistic Artificial Christmas Tree Review

December 9, 2020

Happy Holiday’s yall! This holiday season is especially exciting for me because it’s the first holiday my husband and I are spending in our first home. This year we made the move from our teeny tiny downtown apartment to a house in the suburbs. (I previously wrote about our big move here). Having more space to work from home and entertain has been amazing but I was most excited for a Christmas Tree.

Real v. Artificial Christmas Tree

I grew up in a house where we celebrated Christmas artificial Christmas Trees. However, my husband grew up in a house where they celebrated with real Christmas Trees. Because of our different holiday experiences, we knew the pros and cons of each option.

With a artificial Christmas Tree you have a one time cost and you can use it for years. However, artificial Christmas Trees often look artificial and there’s no smell to get you in the holiday spirit. With a real Christmas Tree comes a lot of upkeep. Additionally, you have to purchase a new Christmas Tree every year. After much debate we ultimately decided to get an artificial Christmas Tree.

Even though we decided to go with a artificial Christmas Tree, I wanted to find the MOST realistic artificial Christmas Tree in the market. I did a LOT of research and ultimately settled on a Balsam Hill Christmas Tree.

Balsam Hill Christmas Tree Review

Balsam Hill allows you to customize everything about your Christmas Tree. You pick the height, the shape, and you can even choose a pre lit Christmas Tree or a flocked Christmas Tree. I purchased a 7 ft, unlit, Saratoga Spruce Christmas Tree. When my tree arrived it took me about 10 minutes to assemble. It took me almost an hour to separate and fluff all the branches. (Balsam Hill has pre fluffed trees if you don’t want to deal with this part). When I was done fluffing the tree branches, I was so pleased with the results! The Balsam Hill tree actually looked like a real Christmas Tree!

If you’re on the hunt for a realistic artificial Christmas Tree I highly recommend a Balsam Hill Christmas Tree. I really think Balsam Hill has thee most realistic artificial Christmas Tree on the market. Check out the the tree I purchased as well as some of my favorites here.
