YSL Touche Eclat All In One Glow Review

Today I’m back with a review of one of the newest tinted moisturizers on the market. I was one of the lucky few picked by Influencer to try Yves Saint Laurent’s new Touche Eclat All In One Glow tinted moisturizer. All in one is an “all in one” product that moisturizes your skin, provides medium coverage, and offers protection from the sun (SPF 23).

Influencer sent me the YSL All In One Glow tinted moisturizer in the color Chocolate or B 80. Chocolate is a shade for deep skin with golden undertones. Although I would have preferred a tinted moisturizer with warm undertones (more on that later), Chocolate looked ok on my skin.

All In One Glow comes in a 1 fl. oz. tube; it’s a lot of product and justifies the $48 price tag. And it has a pump! This is the first time I’ve seen a pump on a tube of product and I liked it. The pump allowed me to easily control the amount of product that was dispensed. And, I think the gold pump makes the product look expensive.

The tinted moisturizer has a light fragrant smell and a very very creamy consistency. A little of this product goes a long way. I was able to get medium coverage from half a pump. The tinted moisturizer applied easily and left me with a dewy glowy finish.

The All In One Glow formula is VERY moisturizing. Almost too moisturizing for someone like me, who has oily skin. After about five minutes of wear I noticed shine, so I lightly applied a layer of Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder in the color Medium Deep. The powder took care of the shine and didn’t effect the color of the foundation. Around the middle of the day I had to add another layer of powder, but by the end of the day my face still looked great.

The next time I wore this product I dusted a layer of translucent powder on my face before I applied the tinted moisturizer. When I applied translucent powder first, I didn’t experience any shine. So if you have oily skin, I highly recommend applying translucent powder before the tinted moisturizer. With both methods of application the tinted moisturizer lasted all day!

My biggest complaint with the YSL All in One Glow tinted moisturizer is the limited shade range. There are 9 shades in the All In One Glow collection. Only 3 of the 9 shades work for people with dark skin. Because of that, many dark skinned individuals won’t be able to find a shade that works for them in this product line. Adding 2 more colors with different undertones to the All In One Glow line would make a huge difference. I hope YSL does better with their shade range in the future. That one complaint aside, I highly recommend the All In One Glow tinted moisturizer for anyone looking for a lightweight, medium coverage, option to foundation.

How many of you prefer tinted moisturizer to foundation? If you do, would you try Yves Saint Laurent’s new All In One Glow tinted moisturizer? Let me know below! And, as I mentioned above, I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Wow, the pump is a really cool idea! I wonder how that works out when you near the end of the tube. Would love to see how it looks on you.

You know I didn’t even think about that. I you could try to twist the pump off and get the last bit of makeup out that way. But it would be pretty hard.

Ooh, YSL, how fancy! It sounds like a lovely product so it’s a shame that they don’t have a wider shade selection.
